Application Engineer – Integration

As an Application Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for building and supporting enterprise data integration solutions for global customers using the o9 Digital Brain, one of the world's leading AI-powered Supply Chain Planning platforms.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to build a strong foundation in Data Engineering, Enterprise Integration, Cloud Technologies, and Supply Chain Planning while working on large-scale digital transformation projects. Through structured training and mentorship, you will gain hands-on experience with enterprise technologies and modern integration practices.

As part of the Integration team, you will:

• Learn the fundamentals of enterprise data integration and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Develop algorithms and programs to extract, validate, transform, and analyze business data.
• Assist in developing and supporting data integration pipelines between enterprise systems and the o9 platform.
• Participate in data profiling, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation activities to ensure data quality.
• Support the development of data transformation logic using SQL, Python, PySpark, Airflow, SSIS and ETL tools.
• Assist in configuring and monitoring batch and API-based data integration processes.
• Participate in unit testing, system testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot data and integration issues under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including data mapping documents and support guides.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, technical architects, and customer teams throughout project implementation.
• Continuously learn new technologies, tools, and industry best practices related to Data Engineering and Supply Chain Planning.

• BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech / MCA graduates from Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Electronics, or related disciplines.
• Consistent academic performance with a passion for technology and problem-solving.

Candidates should have a good understanding of:

• SQL and Relational Database concepts
• Programming using Python, PySpark or Java
• Basic understanding of APIs, ETL concepts and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Knowledge of relational databases, dimensional modeling, star schemas, and data warehousing concepts.
• Basic knowledge of Cloud Computing Systems such as AWS, Azure, GCS etc.
• Exposure to Big Data technologies (Hive, Spark, Hadoop) is a plus but not mandatory
• Familiarity with the concepts of Lakehouse Architecture, Data Lake and Delta Lake
• Exposure to OpenAI, LLM-based integration patterns, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) is a plus
